I’m looking to redo my driveway in Surrey or Greater London. Would you recommend Resin Bound, Block Paving, or Concrete for long-lasting durability and low maintenance? I’m curious to hear what has worked best for others and any tips you have.
For long‑lasting durability and low maintenance in Surrey/Greater London, Block Paving often gets the best feedback — it handles rain and seasonal changes well, looks good long‑term, and repairs are easy if a few blocks shift.
Resin Bound also stays low‑maintenance and looks very sleek, but usually costs more upfront and needs excellent drainage prep. Concrete is typically cheaper to install, but can stain or crack more easily over time.
What’s been your experience — has anyone seen a material that stood up particularly well through wet weather or winter freeze/thaw cycles?
